Why should I replace just the motor instead of the whole pump?
Most of the time, your pump housing is still in good shape. The motor is what actually breaks down – it runs every day, all year long. When we replace just the motor, you keep your existing pump body and plumbing connections. This costs a few hundred dollars less than a complete pump replacement. We test everything to make sure the pump housing does not have cracks or damage. If the housing is bad, we will tell you and recommend a full replacement.
